Dutchess Management LLC is seeking an Associate (Winter - Summer 2024) based in New York with a hybrid work policy. The role centers on due diligence, underwriting, and execution of private equity investments, alongside senior team members.

You will analyze financials, capital structures, and deal documents, while supporting portfolio companies and evaluating opportunities with the family office and other professionals.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant investment experience at PE/VC or related firms.
• Strong financial modeling, evaluation, due diligence, and investment analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable interacting with executives and professionals.
• High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Motivated self-starter with intellectual curiosity to learn new topics and sectors.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough due diligence and execute transactions in private equities as part of core investment strategy.
• Participate in investment underwriting and evaluation; review financials, projections, capital structures, and deal documents.
• Support deal closing activities with senior team; review and draft transaction documents and coordinate closing mechanics.
• Provide ongoing support and advice to existing portfolio companies on strategic, financial, operational issues.
• Collaborate with family office and professionals to evaluate new investments and guide portfolio company success.
