Soul Equity Solutions is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join the deal team in Chicago. You will work directly with deal partners and founder-operators across the investment lifecycle, performing rigorous analysis, leading diligence workstreams, and engaging with portfolio companies from day one.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, evaluation of business fundamentals, and the execution of value creation initiatives within a middle-market PE setting.

Formación

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or operating roles at growth-stage companies.
• Strong financial modeling and ability to present findings clearly to internal teams and portfolio company management.

Responsabilidades

• Qualify opportunities with partners and write the initial investment thesis.
• Lead workstreams (financials, operations, customer concentration, competitive position) and conduct management interviews.
• Sit on portfolio company boards or attend management meetings and track execution of milestones.
• Spend time on-site with portfolio companies and maintain financial models to support scaling decisions.
