Executive Summary:

We are currently working with a lower middle market private equity firm that is looking to expand its West Palm deal team.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Private Equity Associate to join our investment team. The Associate will play a critical role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, supporting portfolio companies, and contributing to the overall investment strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong financial acumen and a passion for private equity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
  • Perform industry and market research to identify investment opportunities
  • Participate in due diligence processes, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and operational data
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support deal execution, including coordinating with legal, accounting, and consulting advisors
  • Monitor and support portfolio companies, including performance tracking and strategic initiatives
  • Assist in fundraising and investor relations activities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate development
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
