Job summary

JSS, a private equity firm focused on media, entertainment, communications, and technology, seeks an Associate in New York. You will source, screen, and evaluate opportunities, build financial models, and lead diligence across the full deal lifecycle. You will work closely with senior partners from day one on live deals.

The role offers direct exposure to deal decisions and a compact team structure. Prior tier 1 IB experience and a recent Associate promotion are highly valued in this fast-moving

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience at a tier 1 investment bank.
• Recent promotion to Associate level desirable.
• Prior experience in the TMT sector desirable.
• Genuine interest in media/entertainment/communications/tech sectors.

Job description

A private equity firm investing in and operating mid-market businesses across media, entertainment, communications, and technology is looking to add an Associate to their team.

This is a full-cycle role. You'll be involved in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across the firm's target sectors. The team is small by design, which means direct exposure to partners and to live deal decisions from day one.
