Job summary

RiverGlade Capital seeks a Private Equity Associate to join its Chicago team with a Summer 2027 start date. The role spans the full investment cycle—from sourcing and diligence to deal execution and portfolio management—within lean deal teams and daily interaction with the Partners.

The position requires at least 2 years in investment banking, strong modeling/analytical skills, and a Bachelor's degree. Healthcare experience is a plus; on-site in Chicago is required.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation and due diligence of new platform and add-on investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain complex financial models including operating models, valuation analyses, LBO models, and return scenarios.
• Support transaction execution by coordinating with investment bankers, management teams, lenders, and advisors.
• Prepare investment committee materials; work closely with CEOs and CFOs of portfolio companies and support value creation initiatives; monitor portfolio company performance and attend quarterly board meetings.
