Alexander Chapman, a leading middle market private equity firm in Chicago, seeks a Private Equity Associate to join the investment team focused on Healthcare.

You will evaluate healthcare investments, build financial models (including LBOs), conduct due diligence, and help develop investment theses and deal execution. This role offers exposure to strategic sourcing, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations shaping value creation in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence: Evaluate new healthcare investment opportunities, conducting market, company, financial, and competitive analyses to assess potential investments.
• Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO analyses, operating forecasts, valuation analyses, and sensitivity cases.
• Investment Strategy & Thesis Development: Develop differentiated investment theses by researching industry and company dynamics and growth opportunities.
• Transaction Execution: Support the full investment process, including due diligence, structuring, financing, investment committee materials, and deal execution.
• Healthcare Sector Analysis: Analyze healthcare companies, market dynamics, competition, regulatory developments and other factors impacting opportunities.
