Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Private Equity Associate for a lower middle market firm with a long-term, partnership-focused approach. You will work closely with senior management and gain exposure across the investments process.

Responsibilities include market research, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and assisting operating/portfolio company work. Strong 1-3 year IB M&A experience and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Investment Banking experience performing M&A in middle/ lower middle market banks.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, forecasting skills (modeling test).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
• Interest or experience in business services, tech, industrials, manufacturing, consumer, or retail.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (there will be a modeling test)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
• Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, technology, industrials, manufacturing, consumer, or retail
