Job summary

AfterQuery is seeking an Investment Banking / Private Equity expert for a remote, project-based role. Candidates have 1–3 years of IB/PE experience. The work spans 2–3 weeks, with an asynchronous schedule and an expected 10–20 hours per week on accepted projects.

Compensation is competitive, with pay starting at 60/hour and potentially rising to 100/hour. This role offers exposure to real‑world financial analysis and a valuable addition to your resume within a YC-backed startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling and accounting.
• Experience with corporate valuations is a plus.

• Apply complex accounting principles to real-world scenarios (NOLs, DTAs, operating leases, etc.)

Job Description

This is a remote, project-based role for Investment Banking or Private Equity professionals with 1–3 years of work experience. You will complete tasks similar to those performed in investment banking or private equity. Work is over the next 2-3 weeks, asynchronous, and assigned on a project-by-project basis, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week for the projects you accept.
