K1 Investment Management is seeking a Private Equity Analyst in Manhattan Beach, CA, starting Fall 2027. You will evaluate potential investments, build financial models, and present to the Investment Committee as part of cross-functional deal teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong academic record, can multi-task, and demonstrates analytical and communication skills with integrity aligned to K1's core values. The development program trains analysts from diverse backgrounds into private equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for the role.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and implementation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of new investments and identify value levers post-close.
• Meet with senior executives, founders/CEOs, and advisors as a representative of K1.
• Build dynamic financial models and run proprietary analyses as part of deal teams.
• Present potential investments to the Investment Committee.
