Private Equity Accountant, Dallas (90K-95K+Bonus)

We are seeking a Private Equity Accountant in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and at least 2 years of experience in public accounting, private equity accounting, investment company accounting, or real estate accounting. This role may also suit someone with a tax background looking to transition into an accounting position.

This position offers a salary of 90K-95K plus a competitive bonus. The company is implementing a permanent hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of month, quarter, and year-end US GAAP financial statements
• Assist in capital calls, distributions, and allocations to investors
• Maintain underlying accounting records
• Prepare journal entries for income/loss allocations from investments
• Analyze daily cash transactions and fund flows
• Prepare debt reconciliations and roll forwards for multiple facilities
• Resolve complex investment accounting issues
• Support management in resolving problems promptly
• Participate in special projects and analyses

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
• Minimum of two years of professional accounting experience, preferably in public accounting, tax, investment company, or real estate accounting
