Job summary

Thrive Education Partners is seeking a dynamic, experienced educator for a part-time tutoring role in the greater Nashville area. The position offers 15–20 hours per week with in-person sessions across Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, and nearby communities.

The ideal candidate has formal middle/high school teaching experience, can support students across multiple subjects, and intentionally teach executive functioning skills such as organization, planning, time management, and study strategies

Qualifications

• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to individual student needs
• Strong understanding of executive functioning and how to explicitly teach these skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and professional relationship-building skills

• Schedule and conduct in-person tutoring sessions in Nashville-area communities

Thrive Education Partners is seeking a dynamic, experienced educator for a part-time tutoring position offering 15–20 hours per week in the greater Nashville area.

We are looking for an exceptional educator with formal teaching experience at the middle and/or high school level who is confident supporting students across a broad range of academic subjects.

The ideal candidate is not only academically versatile but also understands the importance of executive functioning skills and can intentionally integrate organization, planning, time management, study strategies, and independent learning skills into individualized tutoring sessions.

Equally important, this individual demonstrates exceptional professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and thoughtfully with students, families, and colleagues. We value educators who are dependable, proactive, collaborative, and committed to providing an exceptional experience for every family.

Schedule & Location

• Approximately 15–20 hours per week, with a schedule developed around student needs and tutor availability
• Weekday afternoon and evening availability required
• Availability for up to 3–4 hours on either Saturday or Sunday
• In-person sessions throughout Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, and surrounding communities

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced educator seeking a consistent, rewarding part-time position with the potential to develop lasting relationships with students and families.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

$60-85 per hour, depending on experience
