Job summary

Cheer Home Care, LLC is actively hiring a Private Duty Registered Nurse for per diem, 12-hour day shifts in California. The RN will provide high-quality in-home care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and implement individualized care plans while maintaining meticulous electronic records.

The ideal candidate holds a current CA RN license, has 3 years of RN experience (home health preferred), and can manage complex patients with skills in wound care, IV therapy, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted CA RN license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience, home health preferred.
• Willingness to work per diem 12-hour shifts in home care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and meds management.
• Monitor patients with complex needs and intervene early to prevent deterioration.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and equipment use.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with home health regulations and infection control.
