We are hiring RNs to work with PEDs patients in their homes in the Apopka, FL area. We have part-time, PRN, daytime, and/or evening/overnight opportunities with weekly pay, benefits (for those who qualify), and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse in Home and Community Based Services provides and directs nursing and personal care to patients in their homes, as prescribed by the physician or authorized by the state/program, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies. The RN coordinates the care plan with other healthcare professionals, ensuring continuity of care by collaborating with physicians, agency staff, patients, families, case managers, and community resources.

Education and Experience

Provides high-quality clinical services within the scope of practice and infection control standards, in accordance with the care plan, from admission through discharge. Completes clinical nursing assessments per federal and state requirements, ensures patient eligibility, and develops individualized care plans in coordination with community providers. Revises care plans as needed with physician approval.

Experience Desired

A minimum of one year of RN experience; PEDS experience preferred.

License Requirements

Current RN licensure in the practicing state, a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation, and current CPR certification.
