Job summary

Critical Nurse Staffing is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for full-time and part-time roles in patients' homes. Shifts are 12 hours day shifts, with every other weekend required for full-time staff.

Pay rate is $16.00 per hour, with benefits like PTO, 401K, and supplemental insurance. Responsibilities include following the Plan of Care, helping with hygiene, meal prep, ambulation, promoting independence within the care plan, and performing routine housekeeping.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of caregiving experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Follows the Plan of Care and maintains patient safety.
• Comfortable with 12-hour shift home care.

Responsibilities

• Follows the Plan of Care to provide safe, competent care/services to the patient.
• Help the patient maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthy, safe environment.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Assist the patient with ambulation as detailed by Patient Care Plan.
• Encourage the patient's independence but not exceed their capabilities outlined out in the Patient's Care Plan.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
