Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our private duty homecare team in the Swatara Township, PA area. The RN will provide in-home nursing care to patients, coordinate with clinicians, and document care using a tablet in the patient’s home.

We offer a flexible schedule including full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts, with days, nights, and weekends available. Commitment to high-quality patient outcomes and a culture that values diversity and support is central to Aveanna’s

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (hands-on component) — Aveanna can assist after hire if necessary.
• TB skin test current within last 12 months.
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• State-specific requirement may apply.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home nursing care and coordinate with clinicians to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Utilize Aveanna tablet for electronic documentation and collaborate with 24/7 local support.
