Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1099 contract assignment in the Lubbock area. You will administer patient care at the home, following physician care plans and ensuring safety and quality of care.

The role offers $40–$42 per hour with 4 hours/month schedule and potential for additional hours in the surrounding area. Requires an active RN license, CPR, 1+ year home health or clinical experience, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse.
• 1+ years of RN experience in a clinical or home health setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willing to get TB tested.
• Maintain required insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient’s home.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care.
• Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record.
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies.
• Perform activities of daily living with patients.
• Monitor changes in patient condition and indicators of disease progression.
• Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and others about patient health.
• Provide one-on-one care in the patient’s home.
• Collaborate with and supervise CNAs and Personal Care Attendants.
• Perform other personal care services as necessary.

Position: RN (contract)

Location: Lubbock, TX

Compensation: $40-42/hour

Hours: 8 hours/month

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in the Lubbock, TX area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence.

Schedule: 4 hours/month, perfect for those looking for PRN opportunities or supplemental hours! Potential for other patients/hours in Lubbock and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care
• Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies
• Perform various activities associated with daily living
• Monitor for changes in the patient’s condition, such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression
• Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient’s health
• Work with patients is done one-on-one in the patient’s home to provide a comfortable environment
• Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants
• Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs

Minimum Qualifications

• Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting
• Current CPR certification
• Willing to get TB tested
• Maintain required insurance
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient’s home

$40 - $42 an hour
