Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our homecare team in Florida. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in patients’ homes and collaborate with families and clinicians.

The role offers flexible scheduling options (full-time, part-time, or PRN) including days, nights, and weekends, with 24/7 local support and opportunities for skill advancement.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed practical/vocational nursing care to patients in home settings.
• Administer medications and monitor patient health under physician orders.
• Document care and communicate with family and care team.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component) – Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Must have reliable transportation
