The Interim HealthCare's Augusta Office is seeking RNs & LPNs with Private Duty Nursing care experience to join our team! We value the skills nurses with in-home critical care experience have, ensuring our nurses get the respect, value and level service they deserve. For experienced homecare nurses, we will meet or beat your current rate. Set your own schedule, and choose your own patient assignments.

ALL SHIFTS CURRENTLY; days, mid-shifts, & nights | Part-Time, Full-Time & PRN positions also available. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

JOB FEATURES (Private Duty Nursing in the Home Setting)

  • 1 on 1 Patient Centric Care
  • Full time, part time and PRN schedules available.
  • Hourly Shifts, range from 8, 10, & 12 hours
  • Flexible Scheduling (Create your Own Schedules)
  • Patients range from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Pediatric, trach and vent training offered

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients in line with Physician Orders
  • Deliver care consistent with patient Plans of Care Service Plans
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to appropriate supervisor and/or patient physician
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Document care provided in real-time, maintaining accurate patient medical records
  • Provide education and support to patients and their family members on disease process & treatment
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to perform under possible emergent situations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active Georgia RN or LPN Nursing License
  • At least one (1) year of prior home health care experience
  • BLS CPR Certified
  • Prior experience in Chronic Disease Management, Preferred
  • Self-Starter, highly motivated and dedicated
  • Experience working with patients with feeding tube, tracheotomy, or ventilator A Plus
  • Copy of recent Physical, when applicable based upon state and federal regulations
  • Current TB screen results/Chest X-Ray
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Valid Driver’s License with Clean DMV Record, Required for Client Transportation Assignments
