Job summary

Vitale Nursing, Inc. is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) with CNA certification to join our private duty team in California. HHAs work under RN/LVN supervision to provide safe, high-quality care in patient homes and post-operative recovery settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, providing personal care and companionship, and supporting post-operative and long-term care as directed by a nurse. Strong communication and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA Certification in California.
• Valid HHA certification (CDPH).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Three professional references.
• Proof of Malpractice Insurance.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Provide personal care and companionship in private homes or hotel recovery suites.
• Support patients in post-operative recovery and long-term care as directed by a licensed nurse.
• Take and record vital signs when assigned by a licensed nurse.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or LVN.
• Document care provided in accordance with Vitale Nursing, Inc. policies.
• Assist with basic comfort measures, positioning, and safe patient transfers.
