Job summary

Empath Health seeks compassionate Home Health Aides to provide personalized care in patients’ homes within the Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough, Charlotte, and Desoto counties. PRN scheduling offers flexibility while supporting a mission-driven organization delivering Full Life Care.

Qualified candidates include HHA certificate or CNA, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of healthcare experience. Must lift up to 50 lbs and hold a Florida driver license with auto insurance.

Qualifications

• HHA Certificate (40+ hours) or CNA license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred (in-house classes available).
• Minimum of six (6) months healthcare or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities in patients’ homes.
• Support clients’ comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff.
• Travel within the assigned service area to deliver care as scheduled.
