Job summary

Empath Health's Empath Personal Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to serve patients in Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and Sarasota in their homes on a PRN basis. This role offers the flexibility of PRN scheduling and weekly pay.

You will perform personal care, support daily living activities, monitor patient condition, and travel within the service area to provide care as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• CPR certification (in-house classes available if needed).
• Minimum of six (6) months of healthcare or home health experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and operate a motor vehicle within the service area.
• Valid Florida Driver License and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities to patients in their homes.
• Support patients’ comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff.
• Travel within the assigned service area to deliver care as scheduled.
