Job summary

Empath Health's Empath Personal Care is seeking dedicated CNAs to provide in-home care across Pasco County. The role offers PRN scheduling with weekly pay and tuition reimbursement opportunities, in a mission-driven environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida CNA license, CPR certification, and have at least six months of healthcare or home health experience. You will assist patients at home and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with active Florida license.
• CPR certification is required or available in-house.
• Experience in healthcare or home health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Support comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.

What You’ll Do

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities to patients in their homes.

Support patients’ comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.

Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff.

Travel within the assigned service area to deliver care as scheduled.

What You’ll Need

Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).

CPR certification (in-house classes available if needed).

Minimum of six (6) months of healthcare or home health experience preferred.

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to communicate effectively in English and operate a motor vehicle within the service area.

Valid Florida Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
