Job summary

Empath Health is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to deliver compassionate home care across Sarasota & Manatee counties. This PRN position offers weekly pay and the support of a mission-driven organization focused on Full Life Care.

You will work in patients' homes, providing essential daily living assistance with a focus on comfort, dignity, and independence. The role requires a Florida CNA license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation within the service area.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing CNA license.
• CPR certification (in-house classes available if needed).
• Minimum of six months of healthcare or home health experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and operate a motor vehicle within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities to patients in their homes.
• Support patients' comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff.
