Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking Private Duty Aide/Home Health Aide (HHA) in Michigan to join its home health team. You will provide hands-on personal care, report changes in client conditions, and assist with activities of daily living in clients' homes under policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course/certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document client condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies).
