Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an Accounting Associate for the Private Credit team. The role will involve preparing and reviewing fund financial statements, investor packages, and performance reports for private credit funds, while coordinating with fund administrators and auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certificate, with 3–8 years of related experience in asset management or private credit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements, investor reporting packages, and performance reporting for private credit funds.
• Support capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, cash management, portfolio monitoring, and investment tracking across multiple fund structures.
• Partner with fund administrators, auditors, tax professionals, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational controls.
• Assist with management reporting, fundraising support, investor requests, and various strategic initiatives across private debt funds.
