Job summary

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Host / Greeter to join the Food & Beverage Department near Nashville, TN. This part-time hourly role focuses on first impressions, guiding guests to tables, and supporting staff to deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience in fine-dining or high-volume settings, and knowledge of food safety standards. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six (6) months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Knowledge of HACCP & local food safety standards; possesses or can obtain State Food Safety Certificate.
• Knowledgeable of food and beverage operations.
• Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests at the door with a smile and warm greeting, using guest name whenever possible.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins in an organized fashion.
• Schedule reservations over the phone, email, or in person requests.
• Ensure all members and guests with reservations have their required table before arrival.
• Lead guest to appropriate table according to number of guest.
• Thank guests and members for their patronage and invite them to return.
• Assist is seeing all club policy, procedures, and standards are being met by all staff.
• Any other duties as assigned.
