Cramer Mountain Club, located near Charlotte, NC, seeks a General Manager to coordinate communication between the Board of Directors and department heads. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business or a related field is preferred.
• Certified Club Manager (CCM) certification, or progress toward it, will be beneficial.
• Seven years of progressive management roles in private clubs.
• Familiarity with golf operations, turfgrass management, court sports and food service.
• Demonstrated experience developing and leading high functioning teams.
• Impeccable and verifiable references. All candidates will be subject to a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive leadership to department heads and staff; communicate objectives and hold people accountable.
• Coordinate with all departments to optimize the member experience across venues and events.
• Keep the Board and department heads informed of substantive matters in a timely fashion.
• Set a standard for integrity in dealings with members, staff and external partners.
• Guide recruitment, orientation and compensation of team members for each department.
• Collaborate on operating and capital budgets aligned with Board goals.
• Maintain technology and data storage; ensure data backup and security.
• Develop SOPs to optimize club resources and consistency.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for members and staff.
• Be a proactive thought leader to improve member experience and revenue sources.
• Oversee operations for compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
