Quail Ridge is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team at a premier private club in Florida. The role emphasizes personal, professional service with a strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, while building relationships with members and maintaining discretion.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of upscale hospitality experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and events in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience in upscale restaurants, private clubs, or luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service.
• Knowledge of classic cocktail preparation and proper bartending techniques.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and maintain consistency during busy service periods.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and applicable regulations.
• Ability to develop genuine relationships with members while maintaining discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to members and their guests.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages according to standards.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain quality, presentation, portion control, and speed of service.
• Engage with members in a friendly and professional manner while maintaining boundaries and discretion.
• Learn and remember member preferences when possible.
• Anticipate member needs and provide attentive, proactive service.
• Enter and process beverage and food orders using the club's POS system.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen, managers, and other staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar; handle opening/closing procedures.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or needs to management.
• Maintain proper glassware, garnishes, mixers, ice, and bar supplies.
• Ensure beverages are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
• Follow all responsible alcohol-service policies and applicable laws.
• Verify identification when required and address intoxication appropriately.
• Assist with private events, member functions, and special club activities as needed.
• Handle member concerns professionally and involve management when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in interactions with members and guests.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
