Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Bartender for the Wheelhouse Café on the St. Johns River. You will prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean bar, and provide exceptional member service.

The ideal candidate has at least six months bartending or private-club experience, POS familiarity, and a professional appearance. Must meet age requirements for alcohol service; private club or luxury resort background preferred.

Qualifications

• At least six months of bartending, food and beverage, or private-club service experience.
• Previous experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Experience in a private club, luxury resort, hotel, restaurant, or similar service-focused environment preferred.
• Must meet all applicable age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and be prepared for each shift.
• Work a full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Set up the bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and supplies.
• Greet members and guests promptly and provide attentive service.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to club recipes and standards.
• Enter orders into the POS system and process member checks.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and sanitary service areas.
• Communicate with servers and management to ensure efficient service.
• Close and verify member checks at shift end.
• Report equipment concerns and inventory shortages to management.
