Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New York seeks a Private Client Banker to manage the banking relationship for affluent clients within the Branch. You will actively solicit referrals and develop internal and external sources to grow the client base, while delivering tailored financial solutions and education tailored to clients' needs.

The role requires a focus on compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act, SIE and FINRA licensing, and willingness to work weekend/evening hours as part of branch operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining relationships and revenue generation.
• Compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act requirements.
• National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration requirements and SAFE Act compliance.
• Starting Oct. 1, 2018, SIE exam, FINRA Series 6/7, and state registration needed or completed within 180 days of starting the role.

Responsibilities

• Shares the value of Chase Private Client with eligible clients.
• Manages clients' banking relationships using an advice-based approach to provide best-fit products and services.
• Partners with Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers and Business Relationship Managers to connect clients with specialists.
• Sets up self-service options to access accounts 24/7 for clients' convenience.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
