Job Opportunity: Senior Tax Manager - Private Client Team

We are partnered with a mid-tier firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors in their search for a Senior Tax Manager to join the Private Client team in Birmingham. The team serves a diverse client base including entrepreneurs, family offices, private equity and hedge fund principals, large landed estates, high-profile professional partnerships, and senior executives of large listed and private companies.

The services provided include tax return compliance, transaction and reorganisation advice, wealth optimisation from a tax perspective, and estate and succession tax planning. The client base comprises both UK and non-UK domiciled individuals, with regional teams handling a significant portion of cross-border tax services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the delivery of complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-oriented approach.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
3. Develop networks and relationships internally and externally to benefit the team.
4. Supervise, coach, and mentor staff to support their development.
5. Contribute to people initiatives, including training and retaining international tax professionals.
6. Participate in team management, strategy, operations, and junior staff development.
