Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Private Client Services Associate in Los Angeles, California. This full-time, in-office position requires 5-9 years of experience and a strong interest in the private client services industry. Candidates must be licensed to practice in California. An interest in technical tax practice through coursework, prior experience, or an LL.M. program is encouraged but not required.

Duties

• Advise on complex domestic and international tax, wealth transfer, and succession structures.
• Engage in estate planning, privacy structures, and tax planning.
• Collaborate with clients and advisors on multi-generational relationships.
• Participate in client and client-advisor interactions from early stages.
• Work closely with other practice areas within the firm.

Requirements

• 5-9 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Interest in technical tax practice preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California State Bar license.
