Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field.
• Must have coursework to sit for CPA exam, licensed JD or enrolled agent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a collaborative team.
• Excellent client relations and ability to gather information for client engagements.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Working with high net worth families, closely held businesses, estates, trusts and private foundations.
• Developing strong working relationships with clients.
• Completing tax planning and research.
• Preparing federal and state & local tax returns.
• Developing understanding of reporting requirements of different entity structures.
• Leveraging tax knowledge to bring work to completion for review.
• Writing memoranda and other documentation on complex tax issues for clients.
• Staying current on tax legislation relevant to Private Client Service clients.
