Job summary

Withum is seeking a Private Client Services Tax Supervisor to join our Columbia, MD or Tysons Corner, VA offices. You will lead tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and trusts, supervise staff, and strengthen client relationships while delivering accurate, timely tax work.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting (Master's preferred), CPA preferred or pursuing license, and at least four years of public accounting experience, with strong communication, leadership and

• CPA license is preferred or candidates should plan to obtain one.
• Minimum four years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent client service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and mentor staff.

• Prepare complex high-net-worth individual income tax and trust & estate returns.
• Review mid-level complexity returns for high-net-worth clients.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients.
• Handle and resolve tax controversies and supervise staff accounting teams.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
