Job summary

Henderson Brothers in Pittsburgh seeks a Private Client Consultant to manage relationships and policy administration for high-value personal lines clients. You will be the primary contact within the Private Client Team, growing the book by identifying opportunities across home, auto, umbrella, personal articles, watercraft, and related products.

You will lead renewal processes, educate clients on policy features, and ensure compliance while delivering white-glove service.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ working with high value home clientele (">$1,500,000");
  • Property & Casualty license required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Multiline brokerage experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge in Personal insurance underwriting and claims processes
  • Experience consulting on the complexities of client lifestyles as it relates to personal lines of insurance
  • Understanding of tax and legal implications of Personal Lines products
  • Exposure to Epic or Applied Solutions preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all relationship management efforts of our Private Client confidential clients with a positive attitude & concierge care.
  • Develop and strategically manage renewal process of client accounts in a proactive and effective manner.
  • Educate clients on policies, promote and highlight key features, and highlight advantages and disadvantages of provisions.
  • Meet new business goals by developing and prospecting personal lines’ opportunities
  • Conduct annual stewardship meetings with clients.
  • Maintain proactive policy administration and care, such as upkeep of client correspondence and documentation in agency management system
  • Maintain compliance regulations, such as contract, property, and insurance laws
  • All other duties as assigned

Position Description

The Private Client Consultant is responsible for the overall relationship and policy management of our clients. The Private Client Consultant is the primary point-of-contact in our Private Client Team but also works in tandem with team members to deliver exceptional service. This position also creates and finalizes sales opportunities to grow the book of personal insurance business, which can cover an individual’s home, auto, umbrella, personal articles, watercraft, and more.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties
