As a Private Client Banker in Branch Banking, you are the main point of contact for a select group of Chase's affluent clients as well as other customers in the branch.

You will manage their complete banking relationship across the company, utilizing a proactive and disciplined approach to generate growth in their balances.

You will help acquire new clients by actively soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources. Job responsibilities:

  1. Share the value of Chase Private Client with clients that may be eligible.
  2. Actively manage their banking relationship through an advice-based approach, ensuring each client receives the best products and services for their needs.
  3. Partner with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers) to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs.
  4. Make clients' lives more convenient by sharing and setting up self-service options to access their accounts 24/7.
  5. Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  1. Proven success using a relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
  2. At least 1+ year of experience in Branch Banking or equivalent in financial services, with success in client acquisition, relationship cultivation, and revenue generation.
  3. Beginning October 1, 2018, candidates must have or obtain the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses within 180 days of starting.
  4. Compliance with Dodd-Frank / Truth in Lending Act.
  5. High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  1. College degree or military experience.
  2. Experience working with affluent clients.
  3. Strong team orientation and commitment to a long-term career with the firm.

This position is subject to the Dodd-Frank / Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent upon review of criminal history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant data demonstrating financial responsibility and good character. A felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify applicants.

Continued employment depends on compliance with the SAFE Act registration, which must be completed immediately upon employment, along with annual renewals.
