Job summary

Job Juncture is assisting a prominent AmLaw 100 firm in Philadelphia with a Private Client Services Associate or Counsel Attorney role. The position focuses on high-net-worth trust and estate matters, collaboration within a team, and a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate brings a JD from a top-tier law school, a strong LL.M. in tax, and 5+ years of relevant experience. Pennsylvania Bar admission or waiver is preferred, with supervisory responsibilities for paralegals.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• PA Bar Admission or the ability to waive in.
• LL.M. and strong tax background required
• 5+ years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• Drafting and estate administration skills, including experience with complex wills and trusts.
• Proficiency in preparing client presentations, tax calculations and analysis, and administering estates from probate through closing.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact.
• Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration.
• Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs.
• Manage the administration of estates from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met.
• Prepare client presentations and conduct tax calculations and analyses.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service.
