Job summary

Texas Capital Bank is seeking an experienced private banking professional to manage a portfolio of affluent clients and deliver integrated wealth-management solutions. You will coordinate with specialists to provide investment, banking, mortgage, and trust guidance while growing the client base.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in banking, private-banking experience, a finance-related degree, and strong presentation and communication skills to engage clients and COIs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years relevant banking experience; at least five years in private banking preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field required.
  • Preferred: MBA, CFA or CFP.
  • Minimum seven years experience in financial services; five years in Private Banking.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new clients and manage ongoing client experience while leveraging team resources to deliver wealth management solutions.
  • Act as chief client strategist coordinating communication with the client and coordinating with subject matter experts.
  • Develop perspectives on client situations to recommend solutions meeting objectives including investments, banking, mortgage, and trust concepts.
  • Prospect for COIs, associations, and community activities and collaborate with commercial bank colleagues.
  • Operate in a team-based environment and support junior team members and relationship staff.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field
MBA, CFA or CFP (preferred)

Responsibilities

Leverages the specialists on their team including the investment advisor, wealth strategist, financial planner, trust administrator, or banking advisor to provide interdisciplinary expertise and portfolio management. Primarily responsible for generating new clients and managing or quarterbacking the ongoing client experience while engaging all available PWA resources to deliver a complete wealth management solution. Remain the ongoing relationship manager for a specific portfolio of clients and ensure every client has an extraordinary experience Perform the role of chief client strategist by coordinating the team’s ongoing communication with the client and orchestrating the execution of the client plan collaborating throughout with their subject matter expert teammates. Develop perspective on specific client situations in order to proactively and effectively select and recommend solutions that could resolve their issues and meet their objectives. Demonstrate a high-level understanding of investments, banking, mortgage, planning, and trust concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, deposit and loan / mortgage solutions, basic trust and estate products and identification of financial and wealth planning opportunities Demonstrate continuous prospecting skills applied to COIs (centers of influence), associations, and community activities as well as internally with their commercial bank colleagues. Operate effectively in a team based, collaborative environment and assist in the development and retention of junior team members and relationship and customer service associates The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
