Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, experienced caregiver available to work full-time from 8am to 8pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Saturday. This is a set schedule, and the days and times are required. A minimum of 3 years of experience is necessary. Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's is a plus, as the client shows some signs of dementia.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, medication management, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness in resident living areas, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor residents’ health and report any changes in condition to the agency administrator.
• Ensure client rights are respected and upheld at all times.
• Assist in daily ambulation as needed.
