GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking for a compassionate Caregiver to join our team in multiple locations for both shorter and longer hours. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of clients who have difficulty taking care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The candidate must care for clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect, remaining empathetic at all times.

Job Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping, including vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, and laundry.
• Accompany clients to appointments or socially engaged activities as part of companionship duties.
• Remind and assist clients with pre-dosed medications.
• Prepare meals with regard to precautions and dietary restrictions.
• Grocery shopping and running errands as required.
• Provide transportation when needed or as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene care, including dressing/undressing, showering, and feeding.
• Act quickly and responsibly during emergencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Safe driving record with reliable transportation and car insurance.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
