Job summary

Music & Arts, part of the Guitar Center enterprise, is seeking a Music Teacher to create an engaging, supportive learning environment for students of varying ages and abilities. You will teach lessons, build relationships with students and parents, and partner with store teams to schedule lessons and boost retention.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or related field and 2 years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of music teaching experience.
• Advanced degrees or certifications and 8+ years with multiple instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
