Job summary

Trustmark Bank is seeking a Private Banking Portfolio Manager I/II to collaborate with Relationship Managers on deal structuring, underwriting, and loan documentation across multiple markets. This role supports loan draws funding and covenant compliance while providing limited PB team support.

The position requires strong credit analysis, loan workflows knowledge, and the ability to manage client relationships and paperwork with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Three years of commercial lending/credit experience.
• Experience preparing loan applications and documents for processing.
• Knowledge of loan workflows and processes.
• Understanding lending and credit approval processes and related bank policies.
• Strong credit analysis skills and risk identification.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients and staff.
• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheets; organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage loan portfolio activities including underwriting, risk analysis, and documentation.
• Monitor loan covenants, exceptions, and past-due items; track construction progress for funded draws.
• Provide excellent customer service and support PB team with policy/process/system questions.
• Prepare loan applications, gather financials, and coordinate collateral releases with Private Banking Officers.
• Perform administrative duties and support the department, maintaining timely correspondence and records.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for bank products to high-net-worth clients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
