Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Private Bank Service Manager to lead a Private Bank Service Specialist team across Private Banking, Trust, Investment Management and Retirement Plan Services.

You will direct daily activities, ensure timely servicing, provide first line support, and drive process improvements while partnering with sales teams to deepen client relationships and uphold regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years Private Bank/Wealth experience.
• 2+ years management experience or more.
• 5 years in service leadership.
• Notary Public.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities and ensures timeliness/accuracy of servicing requests for Private Bank clients and advisors.
• Provides first line sales and service support.
• Reviews and recommends new methods to increase efficiency.
• Manages complex client issues with input from Senior Leadership as needed.
• Drives team to deepen client relationships through Category of One servicing experiences.
• Leads special projects requested by Senior Leadership.
• Organizes workflow for designated group/projects.
• Responsible for development, training and supervision of staff.
• Partners with sales on site to present a local team partnership to customers.
• Acts as liaison with other departments/divisions.
• Provides directions in new policies and technology.
• Prepares, maintains and monitors activities to ensure compliance with corporate/regulatory requirements.

Summary:

The Private Bank Service Manager, as part of Huntington Bank’s Private Client Group, is responsible for management of a Private Bank Service Specialist team, covering multiple practices (Private Banking, Trust, Investment Management and/or Retirement Plan Services).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directs the overall daily activities and ensures timeliness and accuracy of servicing requests for Private Bank clients and advisors.
• Provides first line sales and service support.
• Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient.
• Takes personal ownership of complex client issues; confers with Senior Leadership for their input, as needed.
• Drive the team to deepen relationships with clients and Huntington colleagues through delivering Category of One servicing experiences.
• Leads special projects as requested by Senior Leadership partners.
• Organizes workflow for designated group and/or projects.
• Responsible for the development, training and supervision of staff
• Partners with the sales team on site to present a local team partnership to the customers.
• Acts as a liaison with other departments and/or divisions
• Provides directions in the establishment of new policies, procedures and technology.
• Prepares, maintains and/or monitors activities to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 or more years of Private Bank or Wealth experience
• 2 or more years management experience or minimum
• 5 years in service leadership
• Demonstrates confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels within the organization in a professional manner.
• Notary Public

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources
• Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality;

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
