Job summary

Huntington Private Bank is seeking a Private Bank Service Specialist III to manage day-to-day client interactions, documentation, maintenance and servicing of relationships with high-net-worth clients. You will support Wealth Advisors, ensuring service excellence while maintaining knowledge of banking products and adherence to risk policies.

The role covers Private Banking, Trust, and Investment Management with opportunities to mentor others and participate in process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 2 years of customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services experience.
• Notary public.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite when supporting Wealth Advisor Role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with or lead special projects as requested by manager and partners.
• Act as a key resource and mentor for other Service Specialists across the footprint.
• Help resolve complex support issues within the Region.
• Identify, assess and manage risk and adhere to policy and procedure acknowledgements.
• Participate in identifying issues of concern and keeping department management informed as needed.
• Provide administrative support for one or more high-end advisor and day-to-day client interaction and relationship servicing.
• Serve customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and disbursing funds as appropriate.
• Identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems with accounts.
• Make routine decisions in the absence of an officer.
• Advise and counsel clients on bank products and services.
• Assist the Advisors by processing and maintaining accurate documentation; may attend meetings.
• Compile information from various sources to prepare reports.
• Communicate information by composing memos and correspondence to clients, officers, attorneys, agencies and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary:
The Private Bank Service Specialist III, as part of Huntington Private Bank, is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington Bank in terms of establishment of documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. Partners with one or more Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to high-net worth clients. The Service Specialist III is also responsible for maintaining a detailed level of knowledge of products and services to provide Service Excellence for our clients. The Service Specialist III will maintain focus and awareness of identifying, assessing, and managing risk and adhering to policies and procedures. Service coverage for multiple practices (Private Banking, Trust, & Investment Management).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with or leads special projects, as requested by manager and partners. Assists in training new and existing service specialists.
• Acts as a key resource and mentor for other Service Specialists across the footprint.
• Helps resolve complex support issues within the Region.
• Responsible for focus and awareness of identifying, assessing and managing risk and adhering to policy and procedure acknowledgements.
• Participate in identifying issues of concern and keeping department management informed as needed.
• Provides administrative support for one or more high-end advisor and is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington, in terms of the establishment, documentation, maintenance and servicing of the relationship. Maintains an effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel.
• Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and disbursing funds as appropriate.
• Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts.
• Makes routine decisions in the absence of an officer.
• Advises and counsels clients on bank products and services.
• Assists the Advisor(s) by processing and maintaining accurate and complete documentation. May attend meetings and presentations independently or with an officer.
• Compiles information from a variety of sources to prepare various reports.
• Communicates information by composing memos and correspondence to clients, officers, attorneys, agencies and others. Maintains up to date knowledge and may train others on products, services,

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
• 2 years customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services experience
• Notary public
• Required when supporting Wealth Advisor Role: Microsoft suite proficient

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.

• Is able to work independently.
• Administrative experience with financial services industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Huntington applications
