Job summary

Baird's Private Asset Management internship in Milwaukee offers exposure to research, fixed income, portfolio management and business development while you build a foundation in investment consulting.

The program runs full-time in summer (37.5–40 hours/week, Mon–Fri) and part-time during the school year (15–20 hours/week) for local students starting ASAP, with flexible academic commitments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a business-related field or liberal arts.
• Anticipated graduation May 2028 or later.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills within a team.
• Demonstrated initiative and proactive learning.
• Detail oriented with organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency in standard office procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist Client Service, Data and Operations teams with monthly/quarterly client performance reports and account setup and maintenance.
• Complete corporate class action processes for investments held in client accounts, including data compilation and submission.
• Maintain and update client information in the CRM system, supporting PAM teams.
• Participate in PAM team meetings, Ops/Service Meetings and Investment Committee meetings.
• Assist with tax documentation, including compiling documents and generating tax reports.
• Prepare reconciliation of incoming funds and process ACAT for new accounts.
• Perform additional duties and assist with ad hoc projects as assigned.
