Job summary

Flexjet is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our in-house maintenance team in Teterboro, NJ. The role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing airframes, engines, and systems, with night shift requirements and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates will hold an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license and have 2–4 years of aviation experience, preferably with corporate aircraft. Starting pay is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required
• 2–4 years directly related aviation experience (corporate aircraft preferred)
• FAR Part 145/135/121 knowledge would be beneficial
• Sheet metal experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications to meet FAA requirements
• Remove and disassemble defective parts; install replacements and test aircraft systems
• Operate power tools and equipment to complete duties
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report times
• Follow OSHA and EPA regulations and company safety programs
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and present professionalism
• Support internal/external customers with quality service
