Job summary

Deloitte is hiring a Data Privacy Manager to lead discovery, design, and implementation of privacy technology solutions. You will work across client, vendor, and cross-functional teams to address regulatory requirements and strengthen data governance.

Role involves privacy-by-design, consent management, and AI governance initiatives with opportunities for increased ownership in large-scale tech deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar Engineering disciplines.
• 7+ years of experience in software design, architecture development, and technology implementation.
• 4+ years of experience with Data Privacy principles (PIA, Data Inventory, Privacy Breach Management, Subject Rights, Consent & Preference, Cookie Management).
• Ability to travel 25-75% on average based on engagement.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including IT, legal/compliance and business executives.
• Familiarity with change management, deployment and operational processes in large IT organizations.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Strategize with clients to identify privacy technology gaps and enable future state privacy goals.
• Lead sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and establish use cases for future state architecture.
• Navigate complex IT architectures to incorporate privacy tech solutions.
• Configure, test, and deploy privacy tools to automate capabilities and improve customer experiences.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors to resolve issues and test end-to-end deployments.
• Manage SDLC activities with regular team and vendor check-ins.
• Lead cross-functional groups to meet diverse client needs in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with practice leaders to gain insights into data privacy trends.
• Develop and maintain technical configuration documentation.
• Provide technical oversight to deployment and rollout of privacy solutions.
