Job summary

Perkins Coie LLP in Dallas seeks a mid-level associate (4–6 years) to join our Chambers-ranked Privacy Class Action Defense Team, handling groundbreaking privacy litigation for marquee tech and retail clients.

The ideal candidate will manage all stages of pre-trial litigation, contribute to strategy, and deliver excellent client service. Strong academic credentials and experience at AmLaw firms are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience practicing law, focusing on privacy class action defense.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Federal and Texas civil procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle all stages of pre-trial litigation, including briefing and discovery.
• Coordinate document production and depositions for complex privacy matters.
• Develop litigation strategy with cross-functional teams.
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain client relationships.

This posting is open to the Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience and enthusiasm for all stages of pre-trial litigation, including briefing, written discovery, document production, and depositions.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills.


• Strong interpersonal skills


• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.


• Comfort with analyzing and interpreting laws and regulations and contributing to strategy.


• A passion for technology and working collaboratively with clients.


• Superior academic credentials and top AmLaw firm experience.


• Familiarity with both Federal and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
