Job summary

Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a Privacy Officer I to oversee general security across club facilities. Responsibilities include patrolling properties, responding to alarms, enforcing club rules, and maintaining security logs. CPR/First Aid may be administered when needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and state BSIS Guard Card, plus basic computer skills and strong communication abilities. Valid CA driver's license is required; 18+ years old preferred for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report all persons entering and leaving buildings or residences and monitor for theft or suspicious activity.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Open residential dwellings for vendors, homeowners and their guests.
• Enforce all rules and regulations of Bighorn Golf Club.
• Operate and understand basic office computer technology.
• Monitor security camera systems and respond to alarms.
• Respond to emergencies and contact authorities as needed.
• Administer CPR and First Aid if necessary.
• Maintain accurate log of security activities on duty.
• Patrol premises to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Be familiar with 911 notification procedures.
• Complete duties assigned by the Director of Privacy.

Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for the general security of all B ighorn properties. Patrol in assigned vehicles or on foot all club facilities and property to ensure the safety of members, guests, employees and the clubs assets including property. Respond to all emergency and non-emergency situations, and alarm activations while maintaining radio communications with the communication center. Perform traffic enforcement duties and enforce local regulations as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Observe and reports all persons entering and leaving buildings or residences and remain alert for theft, suspicious persons and/or vehicles.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Opens residential dwellings for vendors, homeowners and their guests
• Enforces all rules and regulations of B ighorn Golf Club.
• Operate and understand basic office computer technology.
• Monitors all appropriate security camera systems.
• Responds to emergency, fire alarms and burglary alarms and contact Privacy Director and/or police in the event of a disturbance.
• Administers CPR and First Aid if necessary.
• Maintains accurate log of all security activities while on duty.
• Conducts intermittent inspections of the clubhouse, grounds and all other club facilities and areas.
• Patrols all B ighorn Properties; prevents unauthorized vehicles and people from entering onto premises.
• Is familiar with emergency 911 notification procedures.
• Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Privacy.
