You will coordinate with Legal, Compliance, IS, and HIM to ensure compliant handling of health information and contribute to policy, reporting, and governance efforts.

Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years in healthcare privacy or compliance; HIPAA knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, compliance, public health, health information management, business administration or related field.
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare privacy, compliance, or health information management.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rule and related regulations.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional activities and developing governance materials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct privacy investigations from intake to resolution, with documentation and interviews.
• Perform access reviews and audit log analysis for potential inappropriate access.
• Apply HIPAA breach risk assessment standards and develop defensible findings.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, IS/IR, HIM, and operations during investigations.
• Support privacy operations, policy development, reporting, and governance dashboards.
• Assist in regulatory readiness activities, audits, and enterprise initiatives.
